Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed when using PaperBanana. It applies to all prompts, uploaded files, generated illustrations, edits, API usage, and account activity.

PaperBanana is designed for academic, scientific, educational, and professional illustration workflows. You are responsible for the prompts and materials you submit and for reviewing any generated output before using or publishing it.

Prohibited Content

You may not use PaperBanana to create, upload, edit, request, or distribute:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content
• Deepfakes, face swaps, face manipulation, impersonation, or misleading depictions of real people
• Content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors
• Hateful, harassing, threatening, abusive, or discriminatory content
• Graphic violence, self-harm, or instructions that facilitate physical harm
• Illegal products, illegal services, fraud, phishing, malware, or evasion of law enforcement
• Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other third-party rights
• Regulated professional advice or claims that require licensed review, unless you are authorized and the output is properly reviewed

Platform Abuse

You may not:

• Bypass or attempt to bypass moderation, safety filters, usage limits, authentication, or credit controls
• Use automated tools to overload, scrape, probe, or disrupt the service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to PaperBanana without written authorization
• Create multiple accounts to evade limits, suspensions, or enforcement actions
• Submit prompts or uploads intended to test, reverse-engineer, or defeat safety systems

Moderation

We may review prompts and uploaded content using automated and manual systems. For payment and Merchant of Record compliance, we may submit generation prompts to Creem's moderation API before sending them to image generation providers.

If a prompt is blocked or flagged, it will not be processed. If moderation is unavailable, generation may be temporarily blocked until the safety check can be completed.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter AI-generated content or activity that you believe violates this policy, email support@paperbanana.me with the subject line "Content Safety Report."

Please include, when available:

• A link, generation ID, or other information that identifies the content
• A description of the suspected violation
• Relevant screenshots or supporting evidence
• Your contact information if you would like us to follow up

We will review reports using appropriate automated and manual processes. We prioritize reports involving child safety, credible threats, terrorism, or other potentially illegal content. Depending on our findings, we may remove or restrict content, block generation requests, limit or suspend accounts, permanently terminate access, preserve relevant records, or report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

We will keep the reporter's identity confidential to the extent reasonably possible. We may contact the reporter for more information and provide an outcome when appropriate.

Enforcement

We may remove content, block generations, suspend accounts, revoke access, or report activity when we believe this policy has been violated. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.
