Credits and Billing
Understand PaperBanana credits, subscriptions, credit packs, renewals, refunds, and missing credits
Credits are PaperBanana's usage unit for generation and AI editing. Every Generate or Edit button shows the actual credit cost before you submit.
Credit usage
Credits are deducted when you submit a generation or AI edit task. Some tasks reserve credits while running, then confirm the charge or release the reservation after completion.

Subscription plans
Subscribers receive monthly credits:

Yearly subscriptions receive monthly credits according to the yearly plan configuration.
Subscription credits expire after 30 days, so use them within the active window.
One-time credit packs
You can also buy credit packs without subscribing:

One-time credit packs currently do not expire.
Credits did not arrive after payment
- Refresh the page and log in again.
- Confirm you are using the same email used for payment.
- Wait a few minutes for webhook processing.
- If the issue remains, contact support with your email, payment time, amount, transaction ID, or invoice ID.
Refunds
When a refund is issued, related unused credits may be removed. Refunds usually take 5 to 10 business days, depending on the bank or payment provider.
If some credits were already used before the refund, support will review how to handle the consumed credits.
